Djoli Kelen is dedicated to preserving, honoring, and educating on the rich legacy of cultural icons who have significantly shaped African cultural and performing arts in the United States. We strive to advance the realms of African cultural and performing arts, including dance, music, and culture, viewing them as powerful tools for healing, economic development, and community-building. Our mission extends to cultivating and mobilizing the next generation of leaders in African cultural and performing arts, producing skilled dancers, performers, and educators. We are committed to providing quality programs that emphasize transformation and leadership, aligning with common core standards. Through our work, we aim to strengthen and improve community relationships, fostering a better society. Additionally, we seek to act as agents of social change by actively engaging individuals who share and support our mission, purpose, and organizational perspectives.
